Richard E. Ihlenfeld, 95, of Palm Harbor, Fla., formerly of Butler, died Wednesday in Tarpon Springs, Fla.

He was born in Butler and moved to Florida from Butler in 1980.

Mr. Ihlenfeld had been a maintenance supervisor at Armco-Butler Works for 40 years.

He attended the Church on the Bayou Presbyterian Church in Tarpon Springs and was a member of the Hill United Presbyterian Church, Butler.

He was an avid golfer.

Surviving are his wife of 69 years, Marian A. Ihlenfeld; three sons, Richard James Ihlenfeld of Butler, David L. Ihlenfeld of Oceanside, Calif., and Michael L. Ihlenfeld of Zanesville, Ohio; a brother, Carl Ihlenfeld of Marysville, Tenn.; a sister, Ruth Murphey of Virginia Beach, Va.; seven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

<B>IHLENFELD</B> — A memorial service for Richard E. Ihlenfeld, who died Wednesday, March 21, 2007, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Church on the Bayou Presbyterian Church, Tarpon Springs, Fla.In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the, Church Library Fund at Hill United Presbyterian Church, 501 Second St., Butler, PA, 16001.<B>Vinson Funeral Home</B>, Tarpon Springs, is handling arrangements.
