SAXONBURG — District Judge Sue Haggerty recently heard these cases:

David Brakebill, 26, of Gibsonia was held for court on a charge of harassment, filed Feb. 21 by Middlesex Township police.

Craig Hayden, 27, of Butler waived to court charges of driving under the influence, driving too fast for conditions, a lane violation and careless driving, filed Jan. 29 by state police.

Shane Hibbs, 18, of Valencia waived to court charges of DUI, underage drinking. a lane violation, driving too fast for conditions, careless driving, and minors prohibited from operating with alcohol in their system, filed Feb. 12 by state police.

George Lee, 38, of Zanesville, Ohio, waived to court charges of DUI, DUI with a commercial vehicle, driving a commercial vehicle with a suspended license, a lane violation, careless driving and driving an unsecured load, filed March 10 by Penn Township police.

Robert W. Joseph Smith, 20, of Vandergrift, Westmoreland County, waived to court charges of driving without insurance, no inspection and altered, forged or counterfeit documents and plates, filed Feb. 1 by Buffalo Township police.

Jeffrey Tait, 30, of Cabot was held for court on charges of DUI, driving too fast for conditions, a lane violation, careless driving, trespass by vehicle, reckless driving and not wearing a seat belt, filed Jan. 29 by state police.

Cory Taylor, 37, of Kittanning was held for court on charges of fraudulent use of registration plates, unauthorized transfer or use of registration, driving without insurance and without required lighting, and altered, forged or counterfeit documents and plates, filed Feb. 5 by Buffalo Township police.

Clyde Thornhauer Jr., 40, of Sarver waived to court charges of DUI, driving with a suspended license, driving without a license and without insurance, no inspection, fraudulent use of registration plates, and unauthorized transfer or use of registration and altered, forged or counterfeit documents and plates, filed Feb. 5 by Buffalo Township police.

CHICORA — District Judge Lewis Stoughton recently heard these cases filed by state police:Joseph Ambrose, 21, of Butler waived to court charges of theft and trespass, filed Dec. 28.Robert Biedenbach, 47, of Butler was held for court on charges of driving under the influence, accidents involving damage to an unattended vehicle, and providing false information, filed Feb. 1.Robert Cochenour, 36, of North Washington pleaded guilty to a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia, filed Nov. 28. He was ordered to pay $243.50 in fines and court costs.Cal Dittman, 21, of Butler waived to court charges of receiving stolen property and theft of a vehicle, filed Dec. 13.Jennifer Hilliard, 44, of West Sunbury waived to court charges of DUI, making an improper stop, careless driving and violating a hazard regulation, filed Feb. 14.A charge of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance has been withdrawn against Kathryn Lumley, 49, of Eau Claire.Lee McKain, 30, of Butler waived to court charges of theft and receiving stolen property, filed Jan. 12.James Niederriter, 45, of Harrisville waived to court a charge of simple assault, filed March 25.Alex Peoples, 26, of Butler waived to court two counts of retail theft, filed Nov. 20.Joseph Rea, 22, of Chicora waived to court charges of DUI, disregarding traffic lanes, careless driving and driving without rear lights on, filed Feb. 5.Joseph Waibel, 29, of Slippery Rock waived to court charges of DUI, careless driving, and a portable warning device violation, filed Feb. 12.RichardJohn Williams, 50, of Butler waived to court charges of theft, receiving stolen property and conspiracy to commit theft, filed March 29.
