Ella Mae "Ellie" Thomas, 65, of Lyndora died Sunday morning at her home surrounded by her family.

Born Jan. 23, 1942, in Fayette County, she was a daughter of the late Raymond and Belle Tate Dice.

She was a homemaker and enjoyed country music, dancing, camping, boating, visiting flea markets and cooking. She especially loved spending time with her large extended family and friends.

Surviving are her husband, Stephen J. "Skip" Thomas, whom she married Sept. 21, 1985; three sons, Ronald Jackman of Michigan, Randall Jackman of Butler and his fiancée, Renee Strohecker, and Richard Jackman and his wife, Dawn, of Butler; a daughter, Mrs. Doug (Robin) Antanaitis of Portersville; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Brad (Tamara) Dumbaugh of Butler; and two stepsons, Brian Thomas and his wife, Kim, and Timothy Thomas, all of Butler. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

A brother and a sister preceded her in death.

Cunningham St. A memorial service will follow at 3:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with the Rev.
