Jane L. Rodgers
Jane L. Rodgers, 80, of Seabring, Ohio, formerly of Chicora, died at noon Thursday in Copeland Oaks Retirement Home, Seabring.
Born Oct. 16, 1926, in Greenville, Pa., she was the daughter of Amos and Sara Armogost Campbell.
She was affiliated with the United Methodist Church, Karns City, where she was the organist for a time. She enjoyed music and playing the organ.
Surviving are her husband, Miles Rodgers; a daughter, Mrs. Edward (Doris) Reingrover of Alta Loma, Calif.; three sons, Theodore Rodgers of Atwater, Ohio, Dale Rodgers of Mentor, Ohio, and Jay Rodgers of Plain City, Ohio; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two sisters; Mrs. Lewis (Joan)Garing, and Roberta Vensel, all of Chicora; three brothers, Amos Campbell Jr. ofStrongsville, Ohio, Wayne Campbell of Chicora, and Fred Campbell of Calif.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a sister and a brother.
<B>Rodgers</B> — Friends of Jane L. Rodgers, who died Thursday, Feb. 15, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the <B>Steighner Funeral Home</B>, 111 E. Slippery Rock St., Chicora, and from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at the United Methodist Church, Karns City.Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the church, with the Rev. Glea L. Foster, pastor, officiating.Burial will be in Bear Creek Cemetery, Petrolia.
