John F. Brenckle, 74, of New Sewickley Township, Beaver County, died Monday at the Kane Regional Center, Ross Township.

Born July 6, 1932, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of Fred T. and Clara M. Schach Brenckle.

He was a member of St. Ferdinand Roman Catholic Church in Cranberry Township and was a social member of the Unionville American Legion Post 512 in Beaver County.

Despite having cerebral palsy, he was a hard worker who helped on his family's farm, and he loved the tractor.

He is survived by five sisters, Rose Scheller, Dorothy "Dot" (Whitey) Cox and Joanne "Boots" Porter, all of New Sewickley Township, Janet (Marty) Johnston of Economy and Carolyn "Kate" Beck of Renfrew; three brothers, James (Betty) Brenckle of Middle Lancaster, Robert (Ellen) Brenckle of Connoquenessing and Thomas (Marianne) Brenckle of New Sewickley Township, and many nieces and nephews.

<B>BRENCKLE </B>— Friends of John F. Brenckle, who died Monday, Feb. 12, 2007, will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the <B>Boylan Funeral Home</B>, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. at St. Ferdinand Roman Catholic Church, 2535 Rochester Road, Cranberry Township.Burial will be at the St. Gregory Cemetery, Zelienople.Memorial donations may be made to United Cerebral Palsy, 114 Skyline Drive, Butler, PA 16001.Online condolences and directions are available at www.boylanfuneralhome.com.
