There will always be rivalry between Karns City and Moniteau. The moment that East Brady High School shut its doors, Moniteau instantly become the number one rivalry for the Gremlins. As an adult some of my fondest memories of high school include the rivalry between the two schools. However, that is exactly where I left it..in high shcool. As it was always fun to have this rivalry, certain boundries need to be kept. Parents need to display appropriate behaviors at games and realize that it is time for their children to enjoy the rivalry, not theirs. If the children do things that are innappropriate, as adults, it is our job to stop these actions and redirect these behaviors. Please don't live in the past and act like a student. What is very apparent in our area is some people have never left high school and try to live life through their children.
