Don't people make you sick? I am a single parent that gets $0.00 in child support. The father is a runaway bum. Aside from that most child support checks are a fraction of the cost of a child. I am sick to death of the obvious resentment issues on behalf of the parent that does pay child support. because first of all, if parents that pay child support cared a fraction for the child, it would be their pleasure to see to it the child has what he/she needs. Fighting over payments is horrible. Also folks, the parent raising the child has most of the total care of the child. It is sad that our laws have to force people to pay. It is not the childs fault that the non custodial parent has to pay support, but the child suffers through the crap. I would actually pay my child's father to stop causing off again on again trouble. We all suffer through cost of living, no one is exempt. All the people that are derogatory to you, let them take full care of the child and work and take care of medical, dental, clothing, other needed items, food etc. Of course, you will always have the resentful gainfully employed, shoving it down your throat about how wonderful they are and "Poor Me", she is racking me. And the irony of it is, it is not the parent racking you, it is your responsibility according to the law. Our laws need to get more strict, when a child is born, paying child support should be an automatic event, without the custodial parent puttin up with the ex's mouth about money. Also, to those of which this applies,"How will your child feel at age 18, when he or she has suffered through the agony of the battle of a parent screaming about paying child support."
