Lucille M. Sciolla
Lucille M. "Rose" Henry Sciolla, 70, of Cranberry Township, formerly of Richland Township, died Friday after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born on May 24, 1936, in Mars, she was the daughter of Carl and Mabel Nicklas Henry.
Mrs. Sciolla was a long-time secretary for the Pine-Richland School District. In her retirement she enjoyed golf, travel, spending time with her grandchildren, and making new friends wherever she went.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Stephen Sciolla Jr.; a son; three sisters, and a brother.
Mrs. Sciolla is survived by three daughters, Tina McEwen of California, Mrs. Declan (Terri) Sciolla Lynch of Hookstown, and Mrs. Dean (Kari) Sciolla of Richland Township; a sister, Nancy (Donald) Dietrich of Middlesex Township; a brother William (Catherine) Sciolla of Bairdford; five grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

"Rose" Sciolla, who died Friday, Dec. 22, 2006, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the <B>Schellhaas Funeral Home, Ltd</B>., 5864 Heckert Rd., Bakerstown. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Victor Church, Bairdford, with Fr. Regis M. Farmer, celebrant.
