Helen Sakelhide

Helen M. Sakelhide, 82, of Harmony, formerly of Cranberry Township, died Thursday at Evergreen Nursing Center.

Born May 5, 1924, she was the daughter of Francis and Maria Patracki Drabiska.

Mrs. Sakelhide was a member of St. Gregory Catholic Church in Zelienople, and she enjoyed traveling to Las Vegas.

She is survived by two sons, Frank M. Sakelhide and his wife, Deborah, of Gibsonia, and Keith A. Sakelhide and his wife, Jeanette, of Las Vegas; a daughter, Ann M. Sorce and her husband, William, of Cranberry Township; two sisters, Julia Sherwood of Warren, Ohio, and Emma Shutyak, of Atlanta; and a granddaughter, Hannah Sorce.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph A. Szakelyhidi, who died July 11, 1997, three brothers, and six sisters.
