Brian and Jason

I haven't misunderstood a thing. Jackson implies that I am relying on this "check" instead of getting a job. And, no, I am not the only one receiving a "check" but since all child support is either direct deposited or in the form of a bank card, it only takes the push of a button and the click of the mouse to dispurse all that money. And my daughter and I will be just fine when those "checks" stop coming. As I said, I WORK. As a matter of fact, she has an after school job as well. Whatever happened to "The Principle of the Thing"? Or doesn't anyone have priciples any more?

I don't feel that Jackson was feeling any sympathy for me or any of the other single parents out there that have to fight for every penny they get from the deadbeat ex spouses who won't support their children. He suggests we get jobs and not rely on the support of our children's noncustodial parent. I am quite sure that most of us work hard to make ends meet but that doesn't negate the responsibility of the noncustodial parent.

I am also quite sure that most noncustodial parents pay their child support on time. Many of them are trying to support two families and it can't be easy for them either. They are told by the court when to make the payments and if they can make those payments on time, the cusodial parent should be able to count on getting that money on time as well.

Since none of us are going to agree on this issue, This is my last post. Say what you will from here on out...
