Rykaceski

Eleanor Rykaceski, 88, of Freeport died at 12:12 p.m. Friday at ACMH Hospital.

Born in Model, Wy., on April 23, 1918, she was the daughter of Frank S. and Anna M. DeGasperi Bertteotti.

She was a member of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Freeport. She worked for the cafeteria staff at the Freeport School District for 23 years. She was a member of the F.O.E. 1732 Women's Auxiliary and the White Star Ladies Auxiliary.

She was the widow of Thomas J. Rykaceski, who died in 2002.

She is survived by her son, Thomas J. Rykaceski of Buffalo Township; two granddaughters, and two great-grandchildren.

<B>RYKACESKI</B>— Family and friends of Eleanor Rykaceski, who died Friday, Dec. 15, 2006, are being received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the <B>REDMOND FUNERAL HOME, </B>524 High St., Freeport. A parish wake service will be held Tuesday afternoon in the funeral home.A parting prayer service will be held in the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday to be followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Freeport, with the Rev. Thomas Federline officiating.Burial will be in the St. Mary's Cemetery Freeport.
