Dorothy R. "Dorrie" Connelly Studen, 77, of Mars, formerly of Reyn-oldsburg, Ohio, and Cranberry Township, died Saturday morning, at her home.

Born in Apollo, April 20, 1929, she was the daughter of Clair W. and Kathryn Lytle Rearic and was raised in Midland, Pa.

Mrs. Studen became a nurse practitioner in 1974 and worked at the Wexford House Nursing Center and the Deer Lakes Medical Associates.

She was a member of St. Kilian Roman Catholic Church in Mars.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Jan (Kathryn) Suhoskey of Sewell, N.J.; a son, Patrick L. Connelly (Theresa) of Mars; two stepsons, Michael Studen of Richwood, Ohio, and John Studen of Reynoldsburg; four stepdaughters, Mrs. David (Linda) Hubbell of Johnstown, Ohio, Mrs. Tim (Kathy) Godfrey of Clearwater, Fla., Mrs. Ed (Kelly) Kay of Trenton, Ohio, and Mrs. Keith (Karen) Bordner of Granville, Ohio; and her grandchildren, Ryan Lochonic, Eric and Brett Suhoskey, Patrick R., Brad C. and Kathryn L. Connelly, Laura and Nicholas Hubbell, Trevor Godfrey, Ryan and Brandon Kay and Kyle and Kody Bordner.

She also is survived by two aunts, Mrs. Vernon (Ruth) Ament of Vero Beach, Fla., and Nell Church of New Kensington.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Emil Studen, who died in 2002; and by a brother, Donald G. Rearic.

<B>STUDEN</B> — Friends of Dorothy R. "Dorrie" Connelly Studen, who died Saturday Dec. 16, 2006, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the <B>McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home</B>, 238 Crowe Ave. Mars. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Kilian Roman Catholic Church, Mars, with the Rev. Charles Bober officiating.
