Brandy L. Myers, 23, of 1123 Blaney Road, Kittanning, died Friday from complications from a chronic illness at Grove City Medical Center.

Born March 21, 1983, in Kittanning, she was the daughter of Edgar and Elizabeth Meckley Myers.

She worked in food service at ACMH hospital in Kittanning.

She was a member of St. Mary Our Lady of Guadalupe in Kittanning.

She graduated from Elderton High School in 2001, and attended Butler Community College and Slippery Rock University, majoring in communications.

She enjoyed acting, modeling and participating in beauty pageants. She also liked arts and crafts.

She is survived by her parents of Kittanning; her paternal grandmother, Martha Myers of Kittanning; her maternal grandfather, Harvey Meckley Jr. of Kittanning; two brothers, Keith Myers (Debbie) of Kittanning and John Myers (Cathi) of Texas; a half-sister, Alicia Cousins (Dale) of Apollo; three nephews, and a close friend, Don Johnson of Grove City.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, John Myers, and maternal grandmother, Clara Meckley.

<B>MYERS</B>— Friends of Brandy L. Myers, who died Friday, Dec. 15, 2006, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the <B>Kennedy and Blodgett Funeral Home</B>, 253 N. Grant Ave., Kittanning.Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
