Anthony "Tony" Bury, 55, of 700 State Route 4013, Sugarcreek Township, Armstrong County, died Monday at his home.

Born July 11, 1951, in Nu Mine, Armstrong County, he was the son of the late Michael and Clarice Adeline Athernaught Bury.

He was employed by Shannock Valley Beer Distributor.

Mr. Bury was a hard worker and loved to hunt and fish.

Surviving are a son, Anthony J. Bury of Cowansville; a daughter, Sabrina A. Newbold of Templeton R.R. 1; their mother, Sue Bury; a step-granddaughter, Alexis M. Newbold; four brothers, Michael Bury of Sarver, Raymond Bury of Walton, Ky., and Kenneth and Gregory Bury, both of New York, N.Y.; and his companion and close friend, Deborah Beck, and her children, Nichol and Matthew North. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

He was preceded in death by three sisters, Miriam Lucas, and Catherine and Marie Bury.

<B>BURY </B>— Friends of Anthony "Tony" Bury, who died Monday, Dec. 4, 2006, will be received from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Saturday at <B>Carson/Boyer Funeral Home</B>, 724 Main St., Rural Valley. A Mass of Christian burial will follow at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, 109 Second St., Yatesboro, with the Rev. Michael Sikon officiating. Burial will be a the church cemetery.
