Ruth M. Goubeaud Lantz, 76, of Portersville died Saturday evening at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born Oct. 4, 1930, in Sewickley Heights, she was the daughter of Fred L. and Florence Easton Goubeaud.

She was Protestant.

Mrs. Lantz worked part-time cleaning for Freeway Lanes inZelienople.

She is survived by three sons, William Lantz of Heath, Ohio, John Lantz of Syracuse, N. Y., and James Lantz of Butler; a daughter, Linda Barton of Jacksonville, N.C.; a sister, Mrs. Evelyn "Toots" Slingluff of Baden; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale Lantz on Aug. 12, 2005, and a brother.
