Christmas Cards
I should have posted earlier, but if you are going to mail Christmas cards and you haven't mailed them yet, be sure to put your return address on each one. You might think you have a correct address for your family and friends but as a postal employee I see a lot of cards each year that end up having to be sent to the dead letter branch because they are undeliverable as addressed and they don't have a return address on them. Nationwide, I would bet the undeliverable cards without return addresses would number in the thousands. One problem I see frequently is someone addressing a card to a friend, writing the friend's street address and then writing their own city and zip instead of the city and zip where it is supposed to be going. At least with a return address on it, it will come back so you can correct the problem. Do yourself a favor and double check them before you mail. Best wishes for a Merry Christmas and a blessed new year.
