Donald and Margaret Morrison

Donald and Margaret Morrison of North Fort Myers, Fla., will celebrate 50 years of marriage Dec. 29 with a family dinner at The Veranda in Fort Myers.

The former Margaret Smoker married Morrison on Dec. 29, 1956, at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler.

They have six children, Donald Morrison Jr. of North Fort Myers; Pamela Wesoloski of Hillsborough, N.C.; Charles Morrison of Jarrel, Texas; Patricia Elliott of Butler; Frank Morrison of Raleigh, N.C.; and Lisa Koval of Pittsburgh.

They also have 10 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

Morrison is retired from the U.S. Patent office in Boyers.

Mrs. Morrison is retired from the U.S. Postal Service in Butler.

The couple belongs to St. Paul Roman Catholic Church.
