Helen Ferguson of Butler will celebrate her 80th birthday with an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Covenant United Presbyterian Church in Butler.

Ferguson was born Dec. 15, 1926, in North Washington.

She is retired from Butler School District, where she worked as a teacher.

She belongs to Covenant United Presbyterian Church, Butler Woman's Club, Friends of the Library, Pennsylvania Association of School Retirees and Bartramian Audubon Society.
