Sheila and Carl Cooper

Carl and Sheila Cooper of Worth Township will celebrate 60 years of marriage with an open house from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Worth Township Fire Hall.

The former Sheila Moore married Cooper on Dec. 20, 1946, at the home of the bride's parents.

They have four sons, Philip Cooper of Worth Township; Eugene Cooper of Portersville; Leslie Cooper of Wasco, Calif.; and Roger Cooper of Wichita, Kan.

They also have six grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.

The Coopers are both retired and still enjoy farming.

They belong to West Liberty United Presbyterian Church.
