Please be patient people!!

It's a new Christmas season and everyone is shopping for their loved ones, trying to pick out that perfect gift. It seems like every year around this time, people are constantly rude and selfish with one another...but most of all it seems like no one has any patients! I have a little story to tell, and hopefully this will open eyes for everyone. Yesterday, I went to visit my mother in the hospital. She is dying from cancer and it has reached her brain at this point. They transferred her down the A. Valley Hospital. I'm not very familiar with that area, so my sister rode along with me. I'm coming up on a red light (going to make a left turn into the hospital parking lot) and I was slowing down. This lady behind me started flipping out and making all kinds of gestures. ( now mind you, I didn't slam on the brakes, I just eased them on, and I had my turn signal on) So my sister was trying to signal back that we were making a left turn, well the lady in her big SUV, decides to give us both the finger and she flew around us. I'm not exactly sure what I did to make her so mad, but she was furious. My sister just looked at me and I said to her that people are always in a hurry to go no where..which is exactly where this lady ended up..one red light ahead. I am aware that I don't know what was going on with that lady or the situation she was in, as well as her not knowing the situation I was in..but is that really necessary for that kind of behavior? Especially at this time of the year, is it me, or does no one care for each other anymore? I'm not telling this story to get sympathy for my situation, but to ask everyone to please slow down for the Holiday's and be safe. Take alittle extra time and be patient, but more importantly..spend time with your family, you never know when things can be taken away from you in the blink of an eye. I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and hope all of you are well!
