Anti-choice arguments not logically based
Abby writes that "The bible is the only place you need to look for answers" and "we all need to go to church and then maybe there would be a lot less problems in this world." Her appeal to religion, as well as the appeal to naked emotion by Thomas ("abortion is wrong and get over it already") are very indicative of the stark mysticism that is often invoked by anti-choice advocates. By discarding reason and logic in favor of faith and mysticism, their argument is non-existent and invalid on its face. I agree with Nancy of New York that prevention of unwanted pregnancy is vitally important, however the Religious Right has systematically opposed efforts to educate people regarding hormonal contraception, barrier contraception, and Plan B.
