EVANS CITY — District Judge Wayne Seibel recently heard these cases:
Franklin Lawrence Abramson, 45, of Evans City waived his case to court. He was charged Nov. 19 by the Jackson Township police with two counts each of simple assault and endangering the welfare of children and one count each of possession of a controlled substance, harassment, disorderly conduct and increased crime grading to 1st degree misdemeanor because the victim was younger than 12 and the defendant 21 or older.
Denise M. Betton, 45, of Mars waived her case to court. She was charged Oct. 31 by the Adams Township police with driving under the influence of alcohol, failing to obey turning movements and required signals, disregard of traffic lane and obstructed window.
Edward Ernest McConnell, 34, of Evans City waived his case to court. He was charged Nov. 12 by the Jackson Township police with simple assault and harassment.
Ronald N. Voltz Jr., 30, of Evans City had his case held to court. He was charged Nov. 21 by the Evans City police with four counts of making terroristic threats, three counts of disorderly conduct and two counts of recklessly endangering another person.
Candice Marie Nase, 23, of Butler waived her case to court. She was charged Oct. 27 by the Evans City police with driving under the influence of alcohol and disregard of traffic lane.
Paul Christian Jones, 34, of Cranberry Township waived his case to court. He was charged April 4 by the Zelienople police with four counts of identity theft and one count each of theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property. Multiple charges of forgery, access device fraud and tampering with records were withdrawn.
SAXONBURG — District Judge Sue Haggerty recently heard these cases:Lisa Brady, 35, of Butler pleaded guilty to a charge of bad checks, filed Aug. 7 by Middlesex Township. She was ordered to pay $2,294.50 in restitution, fines and court costs.Jeremy Bowser, 29, of Sarver waived to court charges of driving under the influence, speeding, a lane violation and an open container violation, filed Oct. 17 by state police.Rachell Brown, 29, of Butler waived to court charges of DUI, careless driving and driving without an inspection sticker, filed Nov. 2 by Saxonburg police.Jack Cowfer, 37, of Cheswick, Allegheny County waived to court charges of false identification to law enforcement authorities, driving with a suspended license and being a habitual offender for driving under suspension, filed Nov. 12 by Middlesex Township police.Christopher Fuller, 29, of Summerville, S.C., waived to court charges of DUI and a lighting violation, filed Nov. 30 by Saxonburg police.Martin Hubenthal, 31, of Harrisville pleaded guilty to a charge of possession of a controlled substance, filed Oct. 17 by Penn Township police. He was ordered to pay $338.50 in fines and court costs.Paul Kopac, 58, of Sarver was held for court on charges of DUI and careless driving, filed Nov. 2 by Saxonburg police.Randall Kradel, 45, of Cabot was held for court on charges of DUI and careless driving, filed Nov. 1 by Saxonburg police.Kent Mackrell, 36, of Chicora waived to court a charge of bad checks filed in private complaint Oct. 17 by Thomas Meat Market.Alton Mark Jr., 44, of Tarentum, Allegheny County, waived to court charges of theft, receiving stolen property and two counts of forgery, filed Aug. 28 by Penn Township police.Kaci McKinnis, 21, of Connoquenessing waived to court charges of DUI, careless driving and public drunkenness, filed Oct. 23 by state police.Carol McVicker, 56, of Butler waived to court charges of theft, receiving stolen property and three counts of forgery, filed April 26 by Penn Township police.David Patterson, 25, of Cabot waived to court charges of possession of a small amount of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, driving with a suspended license and driving with an altered inspection sticker, filed Oct. 25 by Penn Township police.Patrick Saunders, 23, of Sarver waived to court charges of DUI and careless driving, filed Oct. 26 by Saxonburg police.Michael Steighner, 24, of Butler waived to court charges of DUI, driving too fast for conditions, careless driving, a lane violation and not wearing a seat belt, filed Oct. 16 by state police.Sheena Weifling, 23, of Sarver waived to court charges of DUI and careless driving, filed Nov. 1 by Saxonburg police.Karen Zavacky, 45, of Butler waived to court charges of endangering the welfare of children and public drunkenness, filed Oct. 27 by Penn Township police.
