Ruth M. Adley, 96, of Manor Care in Ross Township died Thursday.

She was born April 10, 1910, in Pittsburgh.

She was a homemaker and enjoyed the theater and musicals.

Surviving are three sons, James J. Adley Jr. of Butler, Mark A. Adley of Lexington, Ky., and William M. Adley of Carry, N.C.; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

A sister, Audrea Steurngel of Pittsburgh, also survives.

Her husband, James J. Adley Sr., whom she married Nov. 11, 1933, died in January 1975. A brother also preceded her in death.
