Satina and W. Alvin Rahiser

W. Alvin and Satina Rahiser of Evans City recently celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary with their family.

Mr. Rahiser and the former Satina Capella were married Dec. 1, 1941, in Wellsburg, W.Va.

They are the parents of Julia Knauff and her husband Ronald of Evans City and Edward Rahiser and his wife Fae of Connoquenessing.

Their grandchildren are Kyle Knauff, Tiffany (Rahiser) Helfrich and Kevin Rahiser. They have two great-granddaughters, Hannah Knauff and Leah Knauff.

Mr. Rahiser is retired from J&L Steel Corp. He is a member of VFW Post 499 and American Legion Post 219.

Mrs. Rahiser is a homemaker. She belongs to St. Peter's Lutheran Church of Evans City.
