Margaret V. Fiel, 83, of Mars died Tuesday at UPMCPassavant Hospital.

Born Oct. 20, 1923, in Duqu-esne, she was the daughter of Jesse and Bessie Williams Gensimore.

Mrs. Fiel had been a licensed practical nurse who worked at Allegheny General Hospital, the Butler Veteran's Administration Hospital, Valencia Woods and she also was in private duty.

She is survived by two daughters, Kathleen Beck and her husband, John, of Shreveport, La., and Barbara Sauers and her husband, George, of Evans City; two sisters, Mrs. June Sauers of Mars and Mrs. Betty Wargo of Plantation, Fla.; five grandchildren, Matthew and Daniel Sauers, John and Bethanne Beck, and Amanda Savoie, and three great-grandchildren, Mackenzie and Madison Savoie and Canaan Sauers.

She preceded by her husband, Harry L. Fiel, on April 27, 1996, and by a sister, Jane Parsons.
