Jenny 65th anniversary
John and Betty Jenny of Concordia Lutheran Ministries' Haven IIIApartments in Jefferson Township celebrated 65 years of marriage Nov. 22 with a private dinner at their home.
The couple exchanged vows Nov. 22, 1941, at the bride's former home in Transfer.
They have three children, Karen Schwab and Daniel Jenny, both of Gibsonia, and Frederick Jenny of Grove City.
They also have eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Jenny retired from Bell Telephone Company of Pennsylvania in 1981. He enjoys photography. Aveteran of the Signal Corp., he served as a sergeant, second, and first lieutenant during World War II and the Korean War. He was an instructor at a radar school in Tampa, Fla., and worked in communications, serving 60 months in the armed forces.
Mrs. Jenny is a homemaker. She enjoys reading and walking.
The Jennys are active members of Gospel Fellowship Presbyterian Church in Valencia and were members of various First Baptist Churches for more than 30 years.
