Erla B. Larimer, 95, of Chicora died Friday at the Chicora Medical Center.

Born March 27, 1911, in Butler, she was the daughter of William and Margaret Elizabeth Sherman Bulford.

After graduating from Butler High School in 1929 and the Butler Nursing School in 1932, she was a nurse at the Butler Memorial Hospital and the Butler Veterans Affairs Medical Center.

She was a lifetime member of St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church and a member of the Butler Memorial Hospital Nurses' Alumni Association.

Erla was a quiet but very giving person. She always put others before herself and was always looking for someone needing her help.

Surviving are two nieces, Mary (Lloyd) Jones of Wintersville, Ohio, and Joan Master of Butler; a nephew, Jerry (Sandra) Huey of Butler; and many great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dillis J. Larimer, who died in 1960; two brothers; and two sisters.
