Ken and Geri Minehart

Ken "K.L."and Geri Minehart of Evans City will celebrate 50 years of marriage Friday.

The former Geri Goetz married Minehart Nov. 24, 1956, at St. Alphonsus Roman Catholic Church in Wexford.

They have three children, Don Minehart of Baden, Cece Weber of Harmony and Shirley Ann "Sam" Minehart of Butler. A son, Raymond Minehart, is deceased.

They also have six grandchildren.

The Mineharts are retired from Mine Safety Appliances.

Minehart attends Community Church in Wexford.

Mrs. Minehart attends St. Matthias Roman Catholic Church in Evans City.
