Daugherty 100th birthday
Anna Daugherty of Sunnyview Home, celebrated her 100th birthday recently with a family dinner at North Washington Social Hall.
The former Anna Christie was born Oct. 27, 1906, in Concord Township. She married Anthony Daugherty in February, 1929. He is deceased.
She has 10 children, Dorothy Snyder of Parker; Marian Strong of Royersford; Anna Sweeney and Doris Stephenson, both of Butler; Edward Daugherty of Plattsburg, N.Y.; Betty McClimans of Chatham, Va.; Donna Weiland of Chicago; James Daugherty of Ishpming, Mich.; Margaret Brainard of Warren, Ohio; and Mary Jane Furey of Fenelton. Another son is deceased.
She also has 34 grandchildren, 52 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Daugherty is a homemaker.
She is a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in North Oakland.
