Jim and Thelma Cain

Jim and Thelma Cain of Salem, Ill., will celebrate 50 years of marriage Friday.

The former Thelma Neely married Cain on Nov. 24, 1956, at North Main Street Church of God in Center Township.

They have two children, Mark Cain and Cynthia Cain of Salem, Ill.

They also have four grandchildren. A great-grandchild is deceased.

Cain is retired from Karsten Manufacturing in Phoenix.

Mrs. Cain is also retired from Karsten Manufacturing.

The couple has held memberships to North Main Street Church of God and churches in Doniphan and Poplar Bluff, Mo. They are currently active members of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Salem, Ill.
