Kevin Ference, son of Dean and Mary Ference of Cranberry Township, has been awarded the Gabe Hartl Scholarship from the Air Traffic Control Association.A freshman at Purdue University, he is majoring in aviation management. He has a private pilot's license and is pursuing his instrument rating through Lafayette Aviation at Purdue.A 2006 graduate of Seneca Valley High School, he is also a member of Purdue's All-American Marching Band and the men's basketball pep band.———
Susan Bennett, daughter of Gay and Joanne Bennett of Butler, has been named to the dean's list at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Florida.———Three students from

Katie Lewandroski, a graduate of Knoch High School, recently performed as Shark Girl in Robert Morris University's Colonial Theatre production of "West Side Story."
