Mae and Joseph Ritson

Joseph and Mae Ritson of Butler Township celebrated 60 years of marriage recently with a family dinner at The Runway restaurant in Penn Township.

The former Mae Lewis married Ritson Nov. 1, 1946, at Renfrew United Methodist Church in Renfrew.

They have four children, Elaine Atkinson of Valparaiso, Ind., and Eileen Vaughn, Joseph Ritson and Jean Snyder, all of Butler.

They also have nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Ritson is a retired accountant. He is a member of American Legion Post 778.

Mrs. Ritson is a retired retail manager.
