Carol and William McBride

William and Carol McBride of Harrisville celebrated 50 years of marriage in August with an open house at Harrisville Fire Hall.

The former Carol Coast married McBride Aug. 10, 1956, at the Church of God in Nectarine.

They have five children, Faith Schliefer of Franklin; Charity Welton of Boardman, Ohio; Bill McBride Jr. and Jason McBride, both of Harrisville; and Rick McBride of Clintonville.

They also have 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

McBride is retired from General Electric in Grove City.

Mrs. McBride works on the family farm.

The couple attends Rocky Springs Presbyterian Church in America.
