INLINE HOCKEY

Butler's varsity inline hockey team improved to 4-0 recently with victories over Hampton and McKeesport.

The Golden Tornado defeated Hampton 6-3 as Jimmy Inman had two goals and an assist. Tony Manfred, Roman Bianco, Josh Elsass and Mike Smith each tallied a goal as well.

Smith had two goals and an assist with Elsass adding two goals in a 7-5 win over McKeesport. Inman, Joe Boben and Justin Lutheran score goals as well.

Butler's elementary inline squad posted wins over Hempfield, Bethel Park and Canon-McMillan recently.

Conner Scott scored the game-winning goal in overtime as the Tornado rallied from an 8-1 deficit to defeat Hempfield, 10-9. Jordan Krajnakovich scored four goals with Ryan Denny, Scott and Jonathan Fair adding two each.

Goaltender Zach Schnur stopped a breakaway attempt in overtime to extend the game.

Krajnakovich scored four more goals in a 10-5 win over Canon-McMillan. Denny added two goals, while Dustin Davis, Troy Double, Fair and Justin Wehrli netted one each.

Denny and Fair scored four goals each in a 12-2 victory over Bethel Park. Davis added two goals, Double and Wehrli one each.

Fair scored four goals in an 8-5 win over Canon-McMillan. Denny added three tallies and Trevor Gilliland one.
