James Edward Hall, 66, a 9-year resident of Mesa, Ariz., died Monday, Sept. 18, 2006, at Banner Hospice in Mesa.

Born Nov. 4, 1939, in Slippery Rock Township, he was the son of the late William G. and Josephine R Hall.

He worked at Slippery Rock University for 20 years before retiring.

Mr. Hall was a member of St John's Methodist Church, Slippery Rock.

He is survived by his wife Pearl C. Hall; a daughter, Cathy Nagle; and four grandchildren Michael, Ashley, Courtney and Brittaney, all of Arizona. His sisters, Mabel Douglas and Linda Boar; and a brother, Larry Hall, all of Butler, also survive.
