Riddle

Doris Mary Riddle, 86, of Lyndora died Sunday at Shelbourne Assisted Living.

Born March 21, 1920, in Butler, she was the daughter of Costen and Erma Hilgar Meals.

She was a school crossing guard in Butler for 36 years.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Ray (Kay) Steffler of Valencia; two sons, Harold Kenneth Riddle of Lyndora and David Riddle of Duluth, Ga.; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. A sister, Verna McKain of Butler, also survives.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold E. Riddle; a sister; and a brother.

<B>RIDDLE</B> — Friends of Doris Mary Riddle, who died Sunday, Sept. 17, 2006, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the <B>Young Funeral Home</B>, 127 W. Jefferson St. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. James Dollhopf, pastor of the First English Lutheran Church, officiating.
