The Potykas in 1956

Andrew and Patricia Potyka of Butler celebrated 50 years of marriage with an open house at the Meridian Veterans Club.

The former Patricia Ordy married Potyka Sept. 16, 1956, at St. Andrew Orthodox Church in Lyndora.

They have four children, Deborah Condon of Hamburg, N.J., and Tamara Varva, Andrew Potyka and Victoria Ewing, all of Butler.

They also have seven grandchildren.Potyka is retired from the Armco Steel Rigger Shop.Mrs. Potyka is retired from H&R Block.The couple belongs to St. Andrew Orthodox Church in Lyndora.
