Barbara Stutz

Barbara Stutz of Sunbury will celebrate her 100th birthday with an open house at 2 p.m. Oct. 8 at the Sunbury Veterans of Foreign Wars hall.

The former Barbara Marra was born Oct. 8, 1906, in Kittanning. She married Guy Stutz Sr. on Oct. 25, 1927. He is deceased.

They had one child, Guy Stutz Jr. He is deceased.

Mrs. Stutz has five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.

She worked as a salesperson for Stanley Home Products.

She belongs to St. Monica Church in Sunbury and is a former member of St. Mary Roman Catholic Church in Herman, where she volunteered in the Christian Mothers of the Church group.
