Maranda McGovern scored two goals while Harley Boyd added a goal and assist as the Slippery Rock under-12 girls Division C team defeated Laurel, 3-1, recently.

Megan Leone had an assist in the victory as well. Goalies were Alicia Bertozzi and Elle Mularski.

• The Prospect Boys and Girls Club defeated Blackhawk, 7-0, as Cody Wolinski, Cody Prelec, Scotty Laborie, Kyle Hinchberger, Cole McCandless and Danielle Wissinger scored goals.

Quay Barnhart, Johnny Marks, Prelec and McCandless had assists. Casey Dudek, Rachel Caldwell and Molly Weitzel provided strong defense while Prelec and Jordan Marks shared the win in goal.
