The Armstrong Arrows Squirt AAhockey team was crowned tournament champion of the Butler Valley Pre-Season Blast held recently at The Ice Connection in Valencia.

The Arrows defeated the Allegheny Badgers 7-2, North Pittsburgh Wildcats 5-3, Butler Valley Dawgs 3-1 and North Pittsburgh 8-3.

Goalie Clay Bachman stopped 78 of 87 shots during the tourney. Dustin Davis scored nine goals with Troy Double and Conner Blose adding four each, Josh Oliver three , Jaime Contrael two and Christian Miller one goal.

Double had six assists with Blose adding five.
