Dorothy Irene Pappalard, 85, of Meyersdale Manor, Meyersdale, formerly of Sunbury Fields Lane, died at 12:10 a.m. Saturday at Meyersdale Manor.

Born Dec. 16, 1920, in Butler, she was the daughter of Wray R. and Mary Jane Christie McIntosh.

She married Silvio D. Pappalard, who died April 11, 1988.

She was a homemaker.

She was a member of the Faith United Presbyterian Church. She was active in her church and was a deacon.

She was a graduate of the Butler HighSchool Class of 1939.

She was survived by a son, Dennis W. Pappalard of Allison Park; a daughter, Nancy J. Meadors of Cumberland, Md.; a nephew, Geoffrey Burns of Kansas City, Mo.; a great-granddaughter, and a great-grandson.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Burns.
