I am completely disgusted once again at how our "justice" system worked in the Linda Jenkins Case. If that is all the better the system works then it is time to remove it and start over. All to often the victims in this country get screwed over by selfish irresponsible people that commit crimes against them and the rest of society. The latest perpetration was in Cranberry twp. where a "man" killed at least one of 3 bikers he hit head on. ( What a history this piece of work had) I suppose a jury of idiots will get this moron off too. People say our Justice system is still the best in the world, well I don't think that is saying too much when you see things like this happen. Something either works or it doesn't. Would any one of us put up with a car that worked some of the time, an employee, a furnace or air conditioner? I sure wouldn't.I realize I am comparing apples with oranges, but still to make my point; a jury actually believed that a man who was confirmed to be TWICE over the legal limit was more in control of his vehicle than a young woman with a child who was going to work is just ridiculous, and when you add in the Eye witnesses that saw this man croos the center line, to me that is a slam dunk! What idiots did they have for jurors?Were they rejects from the Jerry Springer show? Where is the mystery? Like I said it's time to change this system to favor the victims instead of the criminals. ( suggestion, maybe a test for jurors to see if they have an IQ over 3 before being picked to serve) I am tired of seeing good decent people lose their lives because some low life thought it was more important for him or her to have their drinks and fun and then drive. We must punish irresponsible behavior; if we don't we are sending a message that it is ok to all the irresponsible people out there. Enough is enough.
