As someone who is extremely connected here in Butler County politics, I feel that length of residency should not measure as a factor of consideration. Those who raise this non-factor represent a conspiracy between detractors and naysayers. They are threatened by the combined force of the intelligence and charisma of their opponents. They will find no refuge from defeat in 2007.
