Snyder

Mildred Snyder of Meridian celebrated her 90th birthday recently with an open house at the home of her son George Snyder in Meridian.

The former Mildred Herold was born Sept. 19, 1916, in Center Township. She married Hawley Snyder Nov. 26, 1936. He is deceased.

She has two sons, George Snyder of Meridian and David Snyder of Butler. She also has seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Snyder is retired from Butler High School, where she worked as the cafeteria manager.

She is a member of St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Meridian Senior Citizens and Tanglewood Center. She is also a charter member of the Meridian Volunteer Fire Company's Auxiliary.
