Richard and Evelyn McClaine

Richard and Evelyn McClaine of Butler celebrated 60 years of marriage Aug. 19 with a family dinner at Davison's Restaurant in Sarverville.

The former Evelyn Callihan married McClaine on Aug. 24, 1946, at St. Eusebius Roman Catholic Church in East Brady.

They have four children, Mary Werth of Amherst, Ohio, Constance Sawford of Butler, Richard McClaine Jr. of Butler, and Donald McClaine of Butler.

They also have 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Mr. McClaine is retired from West Penn Power. He is a lector at St. Fidelis Roman Catholic Church in Meridian.

Mrs. McClaine is retired from her job as a shoe salesperson at Kinney Shoes. She belongs to St. Fidelis.
