Isabella 50th anniversary
Paul and Mary Isabella celebrated 50 years of marriage recently with a surprise dinner at the J-Barn Country Inn in Sarver.
The couple was united in marriage Sept. 1, 1956, at St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church.
They have two children, Louis Isabella of Pittsburgh and Marisa Mondi of Elmhurst, Ill.
They also have three grandchildren.
Isabella is retired after working for 50 years as a bricklayer. He is a member of the Bocce Club and the Sons of Italy, and is a volunteer at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center.Mrs. Isabella is a former employee of Sunnyview Home.The couple belongs to St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church, where they are active in the 55 and Alive Club. They also participate in the Silver Sneakers exercise program. They enjoy gardening.
