Wendell and Ginny Chronister of Portersville celebrated 60 years of marriage with a family dinner recently at the Village Inn in Harlansburg.

The former Ginny Bauder married Chronister Aug. 9, 1946, in Kittanning.

They have three children, Cal Chronister of Portage, Ind.; Randy Chronister of Slippery Rock; and Ginny McElhatten of Shermansdale.

They also have five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Chronister is retired. He was employed at Matthews Conveyor, Montgomery Ward Tire and Triangle Gas.

Mrs. Chronister is a homemaker. She belongs to the Keenagers in Portersville.

The couple belongs to First Presbyterian Church in Portersville.
