Chiprean 50th anniversary
John Jr. and Jacquelyn Chiprean of Butler celebrated 50 years of marriage recently with a picnic at the home of their daughter and son-in-law in Prospect.
The former Jacquelyn Shultz married Chiprean Aug. 7, 1956, at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler.
They have four children, Robert Chiprean and Anne Boben, both of Butler; David Chiprean of Wattsburg; and Cathy McDonald of Prospect.
They also have six grandchildren.
Chiprean is retired. He plays trumpet with the ACTS and Musicians Concert Band and serves as director for the Anthony James Band. A private pilot, he is currently restoring an antique aircraft.Mrs. Chiprean is retired from the Butler School District and is a former employee of Dr. Timothy Spina. She enjoys playing bridge.The couple enjoys traveling.
