Glenn and Adelee Smith of Sarver celebrated 55 years of marriage recently with a family dinner in Saxonburg.

The former Adelee Stepp married Smith on Aug. 4, 1951, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Freeport.

They have seven children, Richard Smith, Larry Smith and Jeanne Born, all of Sarver; David Smith of Elkins, W. Va.; Marcia Wetzel of Saxonburg; Sheryl Johnston of Freeport and LuAnn Smith of Butler.

They also have 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Smith is retired from Oberg Industries.

Mrs. Smith is retired from Risch's Supermarket.

The couple belongs to Trinity Lutheran Church. They attend a monthly luncheon for the Class of 1950.
