CRANBERRY TWP — District Judge Kelley Streib recently heard these cases:

Brandon Lavern Carter, 23, of Pittsburgh waived his case to court. He was charged July 24 by the Cranberry Township police with attempted forgery, forgery, two counts of attempted theft by deception and driving with a suspended license.

Brian J. Nash, 25, of Gibsonia, Allegheny County, waived his case to court. He was charged Aug. 5 by the Cranberry Township police with receiving stolen property, five counts of use/possession of drug paraphernalia and theft from a motor vehicle.

Matthew C. Orlowski, 35, of New Brighton, Beaver County, waived his case to court. He was charged June 30 by the Cranberry Township police with conspiracy to commit retail theft, retail theft, receiving stolen property and driving with a suspended license.

Brian Edward Vitunac, 24, of McKees Rocks, Allegheny County, has his case held to court. He was charged Aug. 5 by the Cranberry Township police with stalking and loitering and prowling at nighttime.

WORTH TWP, Mercer County — The following cases were heard by District Judge Lawrence Silvis.Michael Chappine, 38, of 6 Loulinnar Lane, West Sunberry waived his preliminary hearing on an acquisition of a controlled substance by fraud, forgery or deception charge. Chappine was charged for the offense July 21 through the state Attorney General's office.Brandon Chandler, 20, of South Broad Street, Grove City, was held for Mercer CountyCourt on charges of statutory sexual assault, aggravated indecent assault of a female under 16 years of age and corruption of a minor. Chandler is also charged with attempted third-degree murder, and possession of a weapon with intent to harm. He is accused of breaking into a neighbor's apartment after an altercation and stabbing him. Bond is set at $50,000. Chandler was charged through the Grove City police department April 29 and May 10.Robert Andrew Adams, 22, no address listed, of Grove City waived a preliminary hearing on charges of corruption of a minor and selling liquor to a minor. Adams was charged May 19 through the Grove City police.David Dezzutti, 38,of Crystal Drive, Oakmont, was held for Mercer CountyCourt on a DUIcharge filed by the Grove City police May 27.Kevin Richael, 34, of 413 Stoneboro-Lateral Road was held for Mercer County Court on driving under the influence and careless driving charges filed by the state police July 6.Jason Limberg, 29, of 205 Edgewood Avenue,Grove City, was held for Mercer County Court on a driving under the influencecharge filed July 10 by the Grove City police.

CHICORA — District Judge Lewis Stoughton recently heard these cases filed by state police:Michael John Connor, 38, of Fenelton waived to court a felony count of trespass, a summary count of trespass, and charges of loitering and prowling at night, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness, filed June 25.Shawn Ealy, 27, of Chicora waived to court charges of driving under the influence, and driving with a suspended license and an obstructed windshield, filed June 20.Ealy in a separate case filed Feb. 21, waived charges of DUI, driving with a suspended license, driving too fast for conditions and careless driving.Nathan Fillip, 19, of Pittsburgh waived to court a charge of corruption of minors filed July 12.David Keefer, 62, of Hilliards waived to court charges of DUI, speeding, careless driving and not wearing a seat belt, filed July 3.James Leri, 46, of Freeport was held for court on charges of bad checks filed July 18.

BUTLER TWP — District Judge Kevin O'Donnell recently heard these cases:Jenna Guadagni, 20, of Butler waived to court a charge of writing a bad check, filed May 11 by Butler Township Police.Laura Patterson, 20, of Cabot pleaded guilty to a charge of unsworn falsification to authorities, filed July 24 by state police. She was ordered to pay $443.50 in fine and court costs.Jeffrey M. Yokel, 51, of Renfrew waived to court charges of driving under the influence and careless driving, filed July 17 by Butler Township Police.Lara Alyse Cuckler, 20, of Butler pleaded guilty to a charge of disorderly conduct, filed July 17 by Butler Township Police. She was ordered to pay $288.50 in fine and court costs.Michael S. Gayhart, 24, of Butler pleaded guilty to a charge of retail theft, filed July 17 by Butler Township Police. He was ordered to pay $338.50 in fine and costs.Michael C. Warsing, 39, of Butler pleaded guilty to a charge of disorderly conduct, filed May 11 by Butler Township Police. He was ordered to pay $430 in fine and court costs.William E. Loughner, 33, of Butler pleaded guilty to a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia, filed July 24 by Butler County detectives. He was ordered to pay $443.50 in fine and costs.John J. Scarnato, 26, of Butler waived to court charges of driving under the influence and failure to use restraint systems, filed May 31 by Butler Township Police.Frank E. Arlott Jr., 37, of Pittsburgh waived to court a charge of retail theft, filed July 31 by Butler Township Police.Angela Grace Leasure, 29, of Butler pleaded guilty to a charge of disorderly conduct, filed July 21 by state police. She was ordered to pay $425 in fine and costs.

SLIPPERY ROCK — District Judge Clifford Woessner recently heard these cases filed by state police:Jonathon Hamilton, 21, 126 Clay St., Boyers, waived to court charges of driving under the influence, speeding and careless driving charges, filed May 17.Shane Michael Frampton, 21, 672 Flower Avenue, Grove City, waived to court charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, criminal mischief and criminal trespassing charges, filed June 20.Patricia Emerick, 65, 586 Hall Road, Butler, waived to court charges of driving under suspension, loitering/prowling at night, disorderly conduct and trespassing charges filed June 29.
